Museum Harbour - "Museumshafen"
The North Sea health spa, Büsum, also has a museum harbour, a project run by the Büsum Harbour Museum Association (Verein Büsumer Museumshafen). It is the only museum of its kind on the North Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein. Founded in June 2001, the Association has already attracted 290 members and their number is growing steadily. The Association is dedicated to restoring beautiful, old sailing-ships and boats to their former glory and making them fully operable again.
