Sunbathing Green/Dyke
In summer, 2,000 wicker roofed beach chairs decorate the sunbathing green. Particularly families with small children and the mobility-impaired appreciate its being only a short distance from the town centre.
Büsum just wouldn’t be Büsum without its endless miles of lush, green dykes. A brisk walk along the crest of the dyke with the sea always in view can be a wonderful experience. Of course, if you don’t like it blustery, you can always walk along the leeward side.
